Estate agencies to remain open in lockdown
2021 didn’t get off to quite the start many of us were hoping for, with new lockdown restrictions announced a few days into the new year. Unlike the first lockdown back in 2020, the housing market has been allowed to remain open, with viewings and moves allowed to continue – albeit with the necessary protective measures in place.
At Julian Marks, the safety of our staff and customers is our top priority so we’ve implemented strict guidelines around protective equipment and social distancing. With these in place, we intend to keep offering our usual levels of high-quality service while ensuring the safety of everyone involved in the property sale process.
With the end of the stamp duty holiday approaching, we know that many of our customers will be looking to complete their sales and purchases before 31st March. Estate agents in Plymouth and across the country will need to work hard to close sales in time for sales to complete before the deadline so we’re delighted with the news that the housing market will remain open through lockdown #3.
